On August 2nd, 2025, a 27-year-old man was arrested by police at a hotel in Fürth, Germany. The incident unfolded in the hotel lobby, where the man entered with his Rottweiler.

Staff at the hotel had called the police due to the man's uncooperative behaviour. He was speaking loudly to himself and refused to leave the hotel. The man repeatedly ordered his dog to bite the police officers, causing concern for the safety of the officers involved.

The police had to use handcuffs to arrest the man due to his strong resistance. The arrest occurred at around 10:30 PM on Rosenstraße. The suspect was not calm after the blood sample was taken, continuing to behave uncooperatively towards the arriving police officers.

Officers arranged for the suspect to be taken to a specialized clinic. The suspect's Rottweiler was taken to an animal shelter. The police arrested the man outside the hotel after he had tied his dog to a post.

The 27-year-old man is being investigated for resisting arrest and threats. It is believed that he was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. No further details about the investigation have been released.
