PokerStars Philadelphia crowns two new champions in high-stakes showdowns

The PokerStars Live Philadelphia series has crowned two new champions. Michael Linster took down the Main Event for a six-figure prize, while Jennifer Shahade won the Women's Event. Both players added to their already impressive poker records. Michael Linster secured first place in the Main Event, earning $126,705. His victory boosts his career winnings to over $2.3 million. The tournament marked another major success in his poker journey.

Jennifer Shahade triumphed in the Women's Event, collecting $3,790. This follows her earlier win at the PokerStars Women's Summer Festival in London, where she defeated a field of 1,024 players in August 2023. Her latest victory reinforces her standing in competitive poker.

The PokerStars Open tour will now move to Namur, running from May 27 to June 7. After that, the series heads to Malaga from June 22 to 28. Both stops will feature a full schedule of live poker events. Linster's Main Event win adds to his long list of poker achievements. Shahade's back-to-back women's titles highlight her consistency in the game. The tour now shifts focus to upcoming stops in Belgium and Spain.
