Poker tournament's Main Event draws 100+ players with $95K prize pool soaring

Today's poker tournament has already drawn strong interest, with over 100 players registered so far. The prize pool has climbed past $95,000, and organisers expect at least 120 entries before registration closes later today. More players will join tomorrow, pushing the final field size beyond 300.

Players in the Main Event are currently on their second break of Day 1a. Registration remains open for another three hours before today's flight ends. A full Day 1b session will follow tomorrow, giving more competitors a chance to enter.

As of now, no official data is available on the total number of participants across the entire event. Registration deadlines, including April 15 for the Schweizer Meisterschaft, are still weeks away. Organisers have not yet released details on the strongest represented countries or regions.

The event's total entries will grow further once Day 1b concludes. With the prize pool already exceeding $95,000, the event is on track for a large final field. Official updates on overall participation numbers are expected after all registration periods close.
