Jeremy Ausmus has claimed victory in Event #7 of the PGT PLO Series II, securing his first win of the 2024 season. The Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, with a prize pool of $960,000, attracted 64 entries.

Ausmus' impressive win earned him a payout of $288,000. The American poker player fought a lengthy heads-up battle against Gruffudd Pugh-Jones to clinch the title.

With this win, Ausmus has moved up to 40th on the all-time money list according to Hendon Mob. He currently has 420 points in the 2024 PGT PLO Series II Top 10 Points. Matthew Wantman, however, leads the race with 439 points.

Meanwhile, in other news, Alex Foxen is currently leading the overall PGT points race. Foxen, a prominent high roller regular, has accumulated 2,132 points in the current season rankings. He is noted as leading the PGT points race as of recent reports in 2025.

Other top players in the broader PGT points race include Sam Soverel and Nick Schulman.
