Poker Club's Inaugural Big Win in the Golden Dragon During Crusade Event
The "Crusade - The Crusade" tournament, held on February 8th at the Golden Dragon Poker Club in Almaty, saw a series of unprecedented events that left the poker community buzzing.
The tournament, which originally had a guarantee of 1 million tenge and a Jackpot of 225K, saw its guarantee "beaten" despite the lack of seating, resulting in a prize fund of an impressive 1'134'000. This surge in interest and demand for future events of a similar scale is a testament to the club's growing reputation.
The winner of the tournament was Ernat T., who took home a prize of 347'000, with Aidos B. coming in second with 235'000, Murat B. taking third with 152'000, Alimhan finishing fourth with 107'000, Ermek K. placing fifth with 82'000, and Rashid H. coming in sixth with 61'000.
In a historic moment, the Jackpot was hit for the first time at the Golden Dragon Poker Club. The Jackpot, which grows daily by 10,000 Kazakhstani tenge and resets to a minimum of 100,000 tenge at noon, was won by Sait M. during the 100/200 Texas Hold'em game. Sait M. walked away with an impressive 75% of the Jackpot, amounting to 225,000 Kazakhstani dollars.
