PLO Masters debuts in Seville with founder JJ Hazan in the €250 Main Event
The PLO Masters series has arrived in Seville, marking its first expansion into Spain. JJ Hazan, the founder of the event, is now taking part in the €250 Main Event. With only 13 players left from Day 1a, the competition is already heating up.
JJ Hazan recently stepped into Admiral Casino in Seville to join the action. The PLO Masters, running alongside the PartyPoker Tour, has drawn a small but dedicated field. So far, Day 1a has seen just 15 entries, with 13 still in contention.
Late registration remains open, giving more players a chance to enter. Hazan, who launched the series, has noted that Spain's PLO scene is relatively modest. Despite this, the event continues to attract interest as it grows beyond its original locations. No official figures have been released on total participation across all PLO Masters tournaments in Spain.
The €250 Main Event is now underway, with Hazan among the remaining competitors. Late entries can still join before registration closes. The outcome will determine whether the series gains further traction in Spain's poker community.
