Planned shutdowns or interruptions in services
In the coming weeks, roadwork will impact traffic in Diestelbruch and near the open-air museum. The specialist company, Straßenbau GmbH, will be performing final roadwork at several locations.
From August 12, 2 pm, to August 13, 5 pm, the entrance to Hamburger Street in Diestelbruch will be fully closed. During the same timeframe, Bad Meinberg Street will be partially closed on one side. Access to the bus stop in Diestelbruch may also be partially impaired.
From August 18 to 20, roadwork will take place at the roundabout on Paderborn Street near the open-air museum. During this period, access to the open-air museum will not be possible. Traffic at both locations will be regulated by a traffic light in one lane.
Expansion joints will be cut into the concrete surfaces at both locations. A rubber-like compound will be used to fill these expansion joints. The specialist company is also cutting expansion joints into the new roadway.
Short-term closures are required at the new roundabout near the access road to the open-air museum and at the town entrance in Diestelbruch. The final roadwork at the roundabout on Paderborn Street near the open-air museum and at the town entrance in Diestelbruch will also be carried out by Straßenbau GmbH.
