Philadelphia Backs Two New Interactive Arts Projects for All Ages

The city of Philadelphia has funded two new cultural projects aimed at encouraging public involvement in the arts. Both initiatives focus on creativity and participation, offering accessible activities for residents of all ages. Funding was awarded to a participatory puppet theatre for children and an interactive art installation for the city library. One of the funded projects is an interactive 'participatory puppet theater' developed by the Beatles Gallery in Dülken. Designed for children aged four to ten, the programme invites young participants to engage in readings and performances of works by professional authors. The events will take place regularly in Dülken, providing a low-threshold cultural experience for families. The puppet theatre and mobile installation will offer ongoing cultural experiences for residents. Participants in the choir workshop may also join future benefit performances. Both projects reflect the city’s commitment to making art accessible and interactive for the community.
