Pharmacist's Second Spouse Faces Bankruptcy Declaration in Perm

In a series of recent developments, former co-owner of the Russian pharmacy chain "Apteka ot sklada," Andrei Godovalov, has found himself on the international wanted list, suspected of tax evasion. The charges against him total 698.8 million rubles, including tax evasion, insurance premiums, penalties, and fines.

Godovalov's business partnership with Nikolai Shavrin ended in 2024, with both men declared bankrupt. Together, they owned LLC "Godovalov," which later announced its liquidation. The network "Apteka ot sklada" ceased operations.

Meanwhile, Andrei Godovalov's personal debts amount to a staggering 4.2 billion rubles, while his wife, Maria Godovalova, owes her creditors 6.01 million rubles. Maria, who specializes in the supply of Italian clothing and accessories, has been recognised as bankrupt by the Arbitration Court of the Perm Territory.

Interestingly, no information has been provided linking Maria Godovalova's insolvency to her connection with Andrei's first wife or the insolvency of the brand 'VykupItalya.'

In a move to recover the debts, creditors are taking measures to locate the property of the Godovalov family abroad, specifically in Italy, France, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. The locations of the targeted property include the same countries mentioned above.

Back in December 2023, the property of both Godovalov and Shavrin was arrested. Nikolai Shavrin, like his former business partner, also has significant personal debts, amounting to 4.1 billion rubles.

Despite these challenging circumstances, it's important to note that no new information regarding the network "Apteka ot sklada" or its liquidation, LLC "Godovalov" or its liquidation, or the supply of Italian clothing and accessories has been provided since the initial bullet points.
