In the quiet town of Lensahn, near Lübeck, Germany, an unusual incident occurred between August 26 and 27, 2025. Various stickers, suspected to be acts of vandalism or support for the Hamburger Sport-Verein football club, were attached to traffic signs.

The Police Directorate of Lübeck initiated an investigation due to the suspected joint malicious damage. The stickers were first noticed by police officers on Friday, August 29, 2025, at a roundabout on Lübeck Street and Bredenfeld Street. Residents reported that the stickers were attached during the night from August 26 to 27.

In addition to the signs in Lensahn, similar stickers were found on traffic signs in Eutiner Street, Bath Street, and Diesel Street in Lübeck. The stickers found on these traffic signs are also fan stickers of the Hamburger Sport-Verein.

The police are appealing for the public's help in the investigation. Witnesses with information about suspects or other details are asked to contact the police at 04363-7939 830 or by email at [email protected]. For further inquiries, contact the Police Directorate of Lübeck Press Office at 0451-131-2015, fax 0451-131-2019, or email [email protected].

The assumption is that the stickers cannot be removed without causing damage to the coating. The investigation into the malicious damage of traffic signs in Lensahn, Germany, is ongoing as of August 29, 2025. No specific organization has been identified as responsible for the activities that led to the damage; the police have noted the incident but no group has been publicly named in connection to it.

The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring those responsible to justice. The investigation began on August 26-27, 2025, and is still ongoing as of August 29, 2025.
