Paul Carr dominates Day 1A of £150 Mini Main Event with 1M+ chips

Day 1A of the £150 Mini Main Event has wrapped up with 99 players competing for the top spot. After the opening round, Paul Carr from Ireland holds a commanding lead with over a million chips in play. The tournament saw strong performances from several British players. Lynne Beaumont from England finished the day with 406,000 chips, placing her near the top of the leaderboard. Jack Andrew, also from the UK, secured 337,000 chips by the end of play.

Brian Frew and Deniz Orhan, both from the UK, ended with 270,000 and 257,000 chips respectively. John Bonadies (312,000), Phillip Hepburn (302,000), and Andrew Chambi (227,000) also maintained solid stacks. Paul Tinsley rounded out the field with 159,000 chips. The event attracted a total of 99 entries, setting the stage for the next phase of competition.

Paul Carr enters the following round as the clear chip leader with 1,110,000. The remaining players will now prepare for Day 1B, where the field will expand further. The tournament continues with higher stakes as the prize pool grows.
