The image shows a group of people in green and pink dresses dancing in a mall, surrounded by a crowd of people standing on the floor. There are banners with text on them, pillars, sign boards with text, a clock on the wall, and a roof with ceiling lights. Pasinaya 2026 Expands Nationwide with Free and Diverse Artistic Performances

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) has launched the 20th edition of Pasinaya, the country's largest multi-arts festival. This year's theme, Paglikha sa Kinabukasan, encourages younger audiences to engage with Philippine arts and culture. For the first time, the event expands beyond Metro Manila, bringing performances to regional venues across the nation.

Pasinaya 2026 takes place simultaneously in multiple locations. In Manila, the Circuit Performing Arts Theater (CPAT) in Makati and the Metropolitan Theater host a mix of theatre, dance, and music. Audiences can enjoy a pay-what-you-can, watch-all-you-can scheme, making the festival accessible to all.

At CPAT's Activity Center, folk dances and puppetry performances draw crowds. The comedic duo Wanlu and Nicolo entertain with their puppet show, while local groups showcase traditional Filipino dances. Meanwhile, the Philippine High School for the Arts presents *Dulaang Sipat Lawin*, alongside productions like *Ang mga Manunubli ng Sinala* and *Samahang Nazareno Inc.* Beyond Metro Manila, the festival travels to Tagum City, Iloilo City, and Roxas City in Capiz. Local dance troupes and choirs perform, highlighting regional talent. The *Pamilihan* market in Rizal Park Luneta also supports small businesses, offering handmade crafts and local goods.

Pasinaya 2026 marks a milestone as the festival's first nationwide expansion. With affordable ticketing and diverse performances, it invites broader participation in Philippine arts. The event runs until its closing, leaving a lasting impact on both artists and audiences.
