Parx Casino Shippensburg unveils live dealer tables in major gaming floor revamp
Parx Casino Shippensburg is set to introduce live dealer table games as part of a major upgrade to its gaming floor. The new tables will replace the previous electronic setup, promising a more interactive experience for players. Testing and preview events are already underway ahead of the official launch.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has approved test nights for the casino on January 27 and 28. During these sessions, local officials, community partners, and industry representatives will observe the operations. Shippensburg Mayor Shaun Rogers will place the ceremonial first wager on January 27 to mark the occasion.
The redesigned gaming area will initially feature 12 tables with 72 seats, offering crazy games such as Blackjack, Roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, and Three Card Poker. These live-dealer tables aim to create a more social atmosphere compared to the previous electronic format.
A soft opening is planned for January 30, giving players an early chance to try the new tables. The full launch will follow with a Grand Opening Weekend starting on Friday, February 6. The casino will continue operating as a fully smoke-free venue throughout the transition.
The introduction of live dealer games marks a significant change for Parx Casino Shippensburg. With 12 new tables and a focus on social interaction, the casino expects the upgrade to attract more visitors. The official opening weekend will begin on February 6 after a series of preview events.
