PartyPoker Tour returns with £32K in prizes at Glasgow's live events

The 2025 PartyPoker Tour has wrapped up its first live events since returning to the poker scene. Five UK stops marked the tour's comeback, with Glasgow hosting two major tournaments. Zhen Zhen and Christian Watt took home top prizes in the city's Main Event and Mini Main Event, respectively.

The tour's Glasgow leg featured a £500 Main Event, where Zhen Zhen claimed victory. She secured £22,500 from a total prize pool of £111,821. The event drew strong interest, though exact participant numbers remain undisclosed.

A separate £150 Mini Main Event attracted 468 entries, building a £57,966 prize pool. Christian Watt emerged as the winner, pocketing £10,260 for first place.

PartyPoker has already announced plans for 2026, including a return to Glasgow's Alea Casino from August 3-9. The tour will also expand into Spain, marking its first international stop since relaunching.

The 2025 tour's success sets the stage for next year's events. Glasgow will host another series, while Spain joins the schedule for the first time. Prize pools and player turnout will likely shape the tour's growing reputation in live poker.
