Overweight Small Trucks Cause Concern in Kirchheim under Teck, Germany

The Ulm Police Headquarters has announced that a VW small truck was stopped on Dettinger StraรŸe for being significantly overloaded, carrying heavy L-stones.

According to the news article originally transmitted by the Ulm Police Headquarters, the truck was weighing approximately 5,180 kg, which is 46% over the permitted 3,500 kg. This excessive weight posed a serious risk to road safety, as the truck's rear axle was heavily compressed, and road safety was no longer ensured.

The driver, a 43-year-old individual, was on the scene but has yet to be identified beyond his age. The police prohibited further travel for the truck, and the driver was required to unload the cargo onto another vehicle before continuing his journey.

The incident occurred on Dettinger StraรŸe, a busy road in Ulm, causing potential hazards for other road users. The Ulm Police Headquarters can be contacted via email at [email protected] or by phone at 0731/188-1111 for more information.

It should be noted that the driver now faces a fine of at least 235 euros and a point in Flensburg for the vehicle overloading offence.

The official website of the Ulm Police Headquarters is http://www.polizei-bw.de/, where you can find more news and updates from the police force. The news article about the overloaded VW truck was also published by news aktuell.

The Ulm Police Headquarters urges all drivers to ensure their vehicles are not overloaded and to prioritise road safety for the benefit of everyone on the roads.
