The Sphere in Las Vegas is set to revolutionise the way classic films are experienced, with its groundbreaking immersive screening of The Wizard of Oz opening on August 28, 2025.
This innovative project, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, Google, and Magnopus, promises to transform the 1939 classic into a fully immersive sensory experience. The Sphere's 160,000-square-foot dome, equipped with 167,000 audio speakers, haptic seats, environmental effects like wind and scents, and ultra-high 16K ultra-high definition visual enhancements, will transport audiences into the magical world of Oz.
