Operation in ratings results: "Strongest camaraderie among operation personnel" - Charitable fund established

The Association for the Promotion of Fire Protection in Ratingen e.V. and the Association of Fire Brigades in NRW have established a donation account for the injured fire personnel and their families following a tragic incident in Ratingen.

The Association of Fire Brigades in NRW, based in Wuppertal, has expressed their thoughts and wishes to those injured in the deployment. The donation fund for injured firefighters and their families was set up in response to the incident, with a focus on solidarity actions following fires or accidents.

Christoph Schoeneborn, the contact person for the Association of Fire Brigades in NRW e.V., can be reached at +49 (01 70) 2 21 80 32 or by email at [email protected]. Inquiries about the donation can also be directed to the Association.

Many emergency services personnel across cities and communities in North Rhine-Westphalia have been deeply affected by the events in Ratingen, as they are familiar with similar deployment situations. Rene Schubert, the chief fire officer of Ratingen and a member of the state association's board, has noted that deployments where fire brigades, rescue services, and police work closely together are common, and most emergency services personnel have participated in similar deployments.

Dr. Jan Heinisch, chairman of the Association of Fire Brigades in NRW, has described a strong sense of solidarity among emergency services in the state following the deployment in Ratingen. He has expressed gratitude for the many expressions of solidarity and get-well wishes for the Ratingen emergency services personnel.

Heinisch also notes that the unity among emergency services personnel throughout the country is heartening in the face of the dire situation for the severely injured. He emphasised that protection becomes almost impossible when violence is used against them, as there are ambushes that cannot be protected against.

Donations can be transferred to the donation account at Sparkasse Hilden, Ratingen, Velbert: DE81 3345 0000 0042 1116 74. The Association of Fire Brigades in NRW e.V. can be contacted at Windhukstraße 80, 42277 Wuppertal.

Dr. Jan Heinisch has expressed his thoughts and wishes to those injured in the deployment in Ratingen, and he has thanked the public for their support during this difficult time.
