Operating hours of bathing facilities post summer vacation

Starting from August 27th, 2025, several outdoor pools in Essen will be adjusting their opening hours. Here's a breakdown of the changes:

The Grugabad outdoor pool will be open from 6:15 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Friday, and from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekends and holidays. The pool will remain open until September 14th, 2025.
The outdoor pool in Kettwig will follow a similar schedule, with opening hours from 6:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, and from 10 AM to 6 PM on weekends and holidays. Like Grugabad, it will also close on September 14th, 2025.
The outdoor pool in Bad and Sport Oststadt will be open from 6:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, and from 10 AM to 6 PM on weekends and holidays. However, it will close on August 31st, 2025.
At the North-East Bath, there will be some temporary changes to the opening hours due to short-term personnel shortages. From August 27th to September 14th, the pool will be open from 7 AM to 10 AM in the morning and from 4 PM to 9 PM in the evening, except for Sundays when it will be open from 8 AM to 1 PM. Regular hours will resume from September 15th.

Please note that the City Bath Borbeck has not been mentioned regarding its opening after the summer holidays. The school, course, and club operation at the North-East Bath is not affected by these changes. All other public swimming times at the North-East Bath must be cancelled during this period.
