On August 27, 2025, a representative showcase by the 3B nation takes place
In the heart of the district school building, the "Regional Window" exhibition is now open, offering a wealth of information about the vibrant 3B region. This area, which includes Bönnigheim, Besigheim, and Bietigheim-Bissingen, as well as surrounding municipalities, is home to a rich tapestry of events, hikes, and bike tours.
The exhibition, organised by the initiative "BI Lebenswertes Bördeland & Diemeltal", provides an insight into the work of the citizens' initiative and the significant festivals in the 3B area during autumn and early autumn. Highlights of the festivals include the Bietigheimer Horse Market, Besigheimer Wine Festival, and Bönnigheimer Wine Festival.
Visitors can expect to find detailed information about these events, as well as tips for hikes and bike tours in the 3B region. However, it's important to note that the "Regional Window" does not offer audio-guided tours or a special cycling tour, as these are already available in the exhibition.
Instead, the "Regional Window" supplements the exhibition with an unique offering - day tours using horse-drawn carriages. These tours provide varied experiences for both locals and guests, offering a charming and traditional way to explore the region.
In addition to the information about the festivals and tours, the "Regional Window" also provides details about culinary and experience tours in the 3B region. It's worth noting that while the "Regional Window" does not offer tips for hikes or bike tours, this information is readily available in the exhibition.
The "Regional Window" is open for viewing from Monday to Friday. On Monday, it's open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. On Thursday, it's open from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The "Regional Window" is an additional information source, located in the foyer of the county house.
For those who prefer a self-guided tour, a special "Listen Tour" is available. This audio-guided tour takes visitors through the historic old towns of Bietigheim, Besigheim, and Bönnigheim. For cyclists, there's even a special "Listen Tour" featuring twelve stations along a scenic 3B region tour.
Beyond the summer festivals, there are city, culinary, and experience tours available in autumn and winter. These tours offer a different perspective of the 3B region, allowing visitors to experience its charm and hospitality throughout the year.
So, whether you're a local or a visitor, the "Regional Window" exhibition is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the 3B region in depth.
