Omsk's choral ensemble shines on Russia 1 ahead of Moscow final
Omsk’s renowned choral ensemble, led by Tatyana Vyacheslavovna, has earned national recognition after a standout performance on Russia 1’s TV show. Their flawless rendition of Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre on 6 March drew widespread acclaim. Now, the group prepares for the project’s final in Moscow, aiming to represent their region with pride. The ensemble’s journey this year has been marked by significant achievements. Their debut on Russia 1’s programme came after years of dedication, with all expenses covered by the Trampolin Group of Companies. This support allowed them to focus entirely on their artistry.
Beyond television success, the group is tied to a larger cultural project: the Choral Art Center in Omsk. Currently under renovation, the centre will feature choral halls, a professional recording studio, and versatile spaces for different music styles. Plans are in place to open its doors in 2026, coinciding with Omsk’s year as Russia’s Cultural Capital. Their primary mission remains simple—singing beautifully and connecting with audiences. This philosophy has guided them through competitions and now toward the upcoming final in Moscow.
The ensemble’s upcoming performance in Moscow will test their skill on a national stage. If successful, their efforts could further boost Omsk’s reputation as a growing hub for choral music. The 2026 opening of the Choral Art Center may also provide a lasting platform for future talent.
