In Bad Hersfeld, a package worth approximately 180 euros was stolen from a package station at a shopping market in the Erfurter Straße in the "Hohe Luft" district, on Tuesday (02.09.) around 10 PM. The theft occurred when an unknown individual approached a 17-year-old delivering a package and took it, fleeing with an e-bike towards Petersberg.
The perpetrator remains unknown, according to police reports. No publicly available details have been released identifying the individual responsible for the theft. The description of the suspect provided by the delivery person is as follows: male, approximately 20 years old, glasses, muscular build, blonde hair with a part, white shirt, black pants, yellow safety vest.
Unfortunately, this is not the only incident of property damage and theft in Bad Hersfeld recently. Between Friday and Tuesday, unknown individuals scratched a silver Mercedes Sprinter parked in the "Hohe Luft" district using an unknown object. The extent of the damage to the Sprinter van is currently unknown.
In a separate incident, unknown individuals stole the official license plates "HEF-DK 85" from a gray Mazda 2 parked in the Blankenheim district, Bebra, overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
