Officer's Sharp Intellect Exposed Multiple Breaches
In Bünde, a 29-year-old man from Spenge found himself in hot water after being caught driving a Ford Fiesta without a valid driver's license. The vehicle, which was found at Neptunstraße, has since been impounded by the officers.
The driver's passenger, a 32-year-old man from Enger, was also taken into custody as he had two outstanding arrest warrants.
The car's current owner, a 36-year-old woman from Bünde, is expected to face charges for allowing someone to drive without a license and violating the mandatory insurance law. She is not the original owner of the car, as the vehicle was only registered until 07.08.2025.
Simon V. from Bünde has been charged by the Bielefeld Police Directorate with driving without a license, forgery, and misuse of vehicle license plates, among other offenses. He will have to answer charges of driving without a license, forgery, and misuse of license plates, in addition to driving without a valid driver's license.
The license plate of the Ford Fiesta was discovered to belong to a trailer, not the car, adding to the list of offenses.
The incident occurred at around 09:30, when patrol officers started searching for the older Ford Fiesta.
