Off to the Haaner Fair via railway

In the upcoming week, several bus routes and stops in the town of Haan, Germany, will undergo significant changes due to the Haaner Kirmes. The Rheinbahn public transport company is responsible for these alterations.

Starting from Thursday, September 19, until approximately 3 PM on Wednesday, September 25, Kaiserstraße will be closed, affecting bus lines 742, 784, 786, 792, SB50, O1, and DL5. As a result, these lines will bypass the city center in both directions, and some stops will be relocated.

For line 742, the "Haan, Markt" and "Windhövel" stops will be relocated to the "Windhövel" stop in the direction of Robert-Koch-Straße (on Schillerstraße) in the direction of Solingen Hauptbahnhof. In the opposite direction, the "Haan, Markt" stop will be relocated to Kirchstraße, in front of house number 36, and the "Haan, Stadtbad" stop will be relocated to the "Lessingstraße" stop of line 742 towards Mettmann. The "Robert-Koch-Straße" stop for line 742 will be relocated to the "Nordstraße" stop instead.

In the direction of Mettmann, Jubiläumsplatz, line 742 buses will take a detour from the "Horststraße" stop. In the direction of Carl-Barth-Straße, line 742 buses will take a detour from the "Haan, Krankenhaus" stop. The "Feldstraße" stop will be relocated to the Feldstraße before the roundabout, and the "Düppelstraße" stop will be relocated to the "Düppelstraße" stop in the direction of Sinterstraße and Robert-Koch-Straße.

Line 784 will offer additional trips on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 PM to midnight between "Benrath S" and "Wuppertal, Vohwinkel Bf". Line DL5 will also provide these additional trips during the same time period. The "Robert-Koch-Straße" stop for lines 784 and DL5 will be discontinued, and passengers are advised to use the "Nordstraße" stop instead.

Both lines 786 and SB50 will take a detour from the "Stöcken" stop in the direction of Nachbarsberg and Bettina-von-Arnim-Straße, and from the "Zwengenberger Straße" stop in the direction of Düsseldorf and Erkrath-Hochdahl, Schulzentrum. Line 786 will run every 20 minutes from 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and from 8 PM on Monday and Tuesday until around 1 AM.

Line 792 and O1 will operate on Saturday and Sunday from 4 PM to 12:30 AM and on Monday and Tuesday from 7 PM to 1 AM. Line 792 buses will run every 15 minutes between "Solingen Hauptbahnhof" and "Haan, Windhövel", and line O1 will operate every 30 minutes. The "Windhövel" stop in the direction of Haan, Stadtbad for all affected lines will be relocated to Breidenhofer Straße, near house numbers 4 to 6.

Line E792 buses will be diverted from the "Haan Bahnhof" stop in the direction of Robert-Koch-Straße and from the arrival stop "Robert-Koch-Straße" in the direction of Solingen Hauptbahnhof. The "Diekerstraße" and "Böttingerstraße" stops are discontinued, and passengers are advised to use the "Haan, Bahnhof" stop instead.
