Obstruction on A4 Highway near Frechen: Emergency responders encounter challenges navigating due to a road collision
On Wednesday evening, a significant traffic accident occurred on the A4 motorway towards Cologne in the city of Frechen, involving three passenger cars. The accident led to delays in treating the injured and reaching the accident site due to the lack of an emergency lane.
The Fire Department Frechen, under the command of Brand Oberinspektor Sven Tiefenbach, promptly deployed a total of 18 emergency personnel to the scene. The rescue services faced difficulties approaching the scene due to the absence of an emergency lane, as is essential for swift emergency response on motorways.
