NVC Sakha triumphs in sports and workplace unity with record achievements

NVC Sakha has celebrated another year of success in both sports and workplace initiatives. The company's athletes recently dominated at the Republic's Trade Union Sports Festival, while its trade union continues to support employees through financial aid and team-building events.

One standout moment came when Ellei Ivanov, an editor at Yakutia 24 TV channel, secured a silver medal in traditional archery at the Manchaary Games. Meanwhile, the company's broader efforts to foster unity and recognition have earned it top honours in collective bargaining agreements.

The company's sports achievements took centre stage as NVC Sakha athletes claimed gold medals in six different disciplines at the Republic's Trade Union Sports Festival. Their performance helped the team win the overall competition in 2022, reinforcing their reputation as a powerhouse in regional sports. Currently, around 250 employees actively participate in events like table tennis, volleyball, mini-football, and darts as part of the annual corporate sports festival.

Beyond competitions, the trade union plays a key role in strengthening workplace bonds. Events like Ysyakh, the Yakut national festival, are organised to bring employees together. The union also provides financial support to members facing personal challenges, ensuring assistance when needed. Nikolai Bystin, Director of Broadcasting at NVC Sakha, publicly acknowledged the athletes' hard work and dedication. Their success reflects the company's commitment to both professional and personal development. Additionally, NVC Sakha's collective bargaining agreement was recognised as the best in Yakutia for 2023, highlighting its fair and supportive workplace policies. The company further shows appreciation for its staff by marking key dates with gifts and greetings. Employees receive recognition on February 23, March 8, and September 1, reinforcing a culture of respect and celebration.

NVC Sakha's recent victories in sports and workplace awards demonstrate its balanced focus on employee well-being and achievement. The company's ongoing support—through financial aid, festivals, and recognition—ensures a motivated and united team. With 250 employees actively engaged in sports and a trade union fostering solidarity, the organisation continues to set a strong example in both competition and workplace culture.
