Nuremberg, a highly anticipated historical drama, is set to commence production in Hungary next month. The film, which is produced by Bluestone Entertainment and Walden Media, promises to be a gripping portrayal of the trials held by the Allies against the defeated Nazi regime.

The cast for Nuremberg is nothing short of impressive. James Vanderbilt has secured the talents of Richard E. Grant, known for his roles in Saltburn and Can You Ever Forgive Me?, as Sir David Maxwell-Fyfe, the British prosecuting attorney working alongside Justice Robert Jackson, played by Michael Shannon.

John Slattery, famed for his role in Mad Men, portrays Colonel Burton C. Andrus, commandant of the Nuremberg prison. Meanwhile, Lydia Peckham, who starred in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, takes on the role of Lila, a young journalist covering the Nuremberg trials.

Wrenn Schmidt, from For All Mankind, plays Elsie, the right hand to Justice Robert Jackson, while Leo Woodall, from The White Lotus, plays Sgt. Howie Triest, the primary translator for Nazi Party leader Hermann Goering, portrayed by Russell Crowe.

Andreas Pietschmann, from Dark, takes on the role of Rudolf Hess, Deputy to the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler and one of the defendants on trial. Lotte Verbeek, known for her role in Outlander, portrays Hermann Goering's wife, Emmy.

The script for Nuremberg is adapted from the book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai. Brian Cox has also joined the cast, playing the role of Rudolf Hess.

The project's producers include Richard Saperstein, William Sherak, Brad Fischer, Vanderbilt, Istvan Major, and Paul Neinstein, among others. Nuremberg is set against the backdrop of post-war Germany and chronicles the trials that would shape the course of history.

We eagerly await the release of Nuremberg, a film that promises to deliver a powerful and moving portrayal of a pivotal moment in human history.
