In an unfortunate incident that took place around 9:20 PM on an S-Bahn train on line 9, three men were involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. The incident has led to the arrest of two Polish nationals and the initiation of a criminal proceeding.

The Federal Police in Berlin are investigating the incident, with the injured party, a 45-year-old Pole, being transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment by emergency medical services. The two men accused of attacking the third man during the altercation are the 53- and 27-year-old Polish nationals, both known to the police.

The 53-year-old Polish attacker was arrested at Berlin-Alexanderplatz station. The breath alcohol content of the 53-year-old was 3.24 per mille, and the 27-year-old had a reading of 3.78 per mille. The Federal Police transported the intoxicated duo for a blood test ordered by the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation has also uncovered that the 53-year-old had violated the entry ban to Germany, as his right to freedom of movement was revoked in 2017. A criminal proceeding has been initiated against the 53-year-old on suspicion of illegal residence.

Two men were provisionally arrested by the Federal Police in Berlin-Mitte on Monday evening. However, the search results do not provide specific names of the two police officers suspected in the bodily injury investigation. They mention ongoing investigations by the Dresden Public Prosecutor's Office and Police Directorate but do not disclose the identities of the officers involved.
