Saarland Experiences Severe Storms - No functions remain in Fechingen due to constant rainfall.

In the area surrounding Provinzialstraße, between Heringsmühle and Zum Hasenberg, the roads are flooded to such an extent that vehicles can no longer pass. A public bus was the last vehicle to manage to leave the city of Saarland.

A policeman, who had ventured too far from his emergency vehicle to block the road, also found himself stuck: "Only local public transportation is allowed to drive through here, but after this bus, there are no more options."

Nevertheless, a number of motorists continue to wander around the closed-off area, searching for a way out. Unfortunately, all access roads are either obstructed by the police and fire department or rendered impassable due to the rising waters.

Nothing works anymore - the road is flooded

A 67-year-old resident in Talweg appears bewildered: "I've been living here for 67 years, and I've never seen anything like this before!"

With water flooding into multiple homes, the damage is expected to be extensive. At present, there is no information on whether anyone was injured in the incident.
