National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Recruitment 2025: Exam Pattern, Vacancies, and Admit Card Released
The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has announced the release of the admit card for its Recruitment 2025, scheduled for 13th September 2025. Candidates who have applied can now download their admit cards from the official portal.
The NMDC Recruitment 2025 aims to fill a total of 995 vacancies across various posts. The breakdown of vacancies for each post is as follows:
- Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical) (Trainee): 86 for Kirandul, 182 for Bacheli, and 37 for Donimalai, totaling 305.
- Maintenance Assistant (Electrical) (Trainee): 49 for Kirandul, 56 for Bacheli, and 36 for Donimalai, totaling 141.
- HEM Operator Gr-III (Trainee): 118 for Kirandul, 40 for Bacheli, and 70 for Donimalai, totaling 228.
- Electronics Technician Gr-III (Trainee): 3 for Kirandul and 3 for Donimalai, totaling 6.
- Electrician Gr-III (Trainee): 1 for Kirandul, 11 for Bacheli, and 29 for Donimalai, totaling 41.
- QCA Gr-III (Trainee): 1 for Kirandul and 3 for Donimalai, totaling 4.
- HEM Mechanic Gr-III (Trainee): 39 for Kirandul, 12 for Bacheli, and 26 for Donimalai, totaling 77.
- Blaster Gr-II (Trainee): 3 for Bacheli and 3 for Donimalai, totaling 6.
- Field Attendant (Trainee): 86 for Kirandul, 38 for Bacheli, and 27 for Donimalai, totaling 151.
- MCO Gr-III (Trainee): 6 for Kirandul, 14 for Bacheli, and 16 for Donimalai, totaling 36.
Each post has a unique exam pattern. For instance, the exam for MCO Gr-III consists of CBT - Subject Knowledge (30) + General Knowledge (50) + Numerical & Reasoning (20) = 100 marks. On the other hand, the exam for Field Attendant (Trainee) follows an OMR Test - General Knowledge (70) + Numerical & Reasoning (30) = 100 marks pattern.
It is essential for candidates to carry a printed admit card, a valid photo ID, and any items specifically allowed in their admit card instructions on exam day. If there's an error on the admit card (name/photo/center), candidates should contact the support/helpline mentioned on the admit card/portal immediately and follow their instructions. Do not alter the card manually.
Remember, electronic gadgets such as mobiles, smartwatches, earphones, calculators, and study material are typically prohibited during the exam. Also, the NMDC exam has a second stage which includes a Physical Ability Test (PAT) for Field Attendant and a Trade Test for other posts. The final merit is based on the first-level test only.
The minimum qualifying marks in OMR/CBT for UR/EWS candidates is 50, OBC-NCL candidates is 45, and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates is 40 (out of 100).
