Nissan unveils its new model, Kicks, during an NCAA game and makes a display at the New York International Auto Show.
The 2025 Nissan Kicks has made its grand entrance, promising to invigorate the small crossover segment with its expressive design, confident driving experience, and enhanced technology offering. The all-new Kicks was unveiled at the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where a larger-than-life, digital 3D "shoebox" featuring the new model drew attention.
Safety is a top priority for Nissan, and the 2025 Kicks comes equipped with standard Nissan Safety Shield® 360 for added driver reassurance. Advanced technology and capability are also integral parts of the Kicks, with available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and ProPILOT Assist, which combines steering assistance with Intelligent Cruise Control to help drivers stay centered within their lane.
The 2025 Nissan Kicks boasts a powerful new 2.0-liter inline-four engine and a more responsive Xtronic transmission. This combination delivers a confident driving experience that is both enjoyable and efficient. To keep things connected, the Kicks features the convenience of available wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, up to four USB Type-C ports, and available wireless charging.
Inside, the 2025 Kicks has an equally modern look, highlighted by available dual 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard. A new available power panoramic sunroof lets in plenty of sunlight, enhancing the spacious interior feel of the Kicks. The vehicle also offers best-in-class standard ground clearance and cargo space, making it a practical choice for everyday adventures.
Nissan has partnered with the 2024 March Madness tournament, and following the event, the 2025 Nissan Kicks will be on display at the 2024 New York International Auto Show from March 27 to April 7. For those who couldn't make it to the tournaments or the auto show, game attendees at Barclays Center could visit the Kicks Unboxing booth to see the car for the first time.
The Kicks Unboxing event, featuring live music and giveaways, is open on March 22 and 24 during game times. Ponz Pandikuthira, senior vice president and chief planning officer of Nissan Americas, stated that the all-new Kicks is designed with bold shapes and a style that can fit in a sneakerhead's collection or driveway.
The 2025 Nissan Kicks is set to be available at Nissan dealers late this summer in the U.S. and Canada. With its modern design, advanced technology, and class-leading capabilities, the 2025 Nissan Kicks is poised to make a significant impact in the compact crossover segment.
