Next-generation emergency services to be facilitated by "vision 4rescue", a comprehensive technological infrastructure unveiled by Software République

In the heart of Paris, during the 2025 edition of Viva Technology, Software République, in partnership with three firefighter units and several technology partners, unveiled "vision 4rescue", a groundbreaking system of interconnected technological solutions designed to revolutionize emergency services.

The ecosystem of "vision 4rescue" comprises 20 interconnected solutions, aimed at anticipating emergencies, acting more effectively during interventions, and communicating more efficiently. At its core lies a set of technologies, including modeling, simulation, and detection solutions from Dassault Systèmes, Thales, Orange, HawAI.tech, and Atos.

Atos' crisis management solution integrates prevention plans, monitoring, and simulation data to organize emergency responses. Thales' emergency communication system, integrated into long-range drones or the Renault 4 E-Tech electric, geolocates mobile phones in risk zones and sends alert messages to which civilians can respond if needed.

To transmit vital information to firefighters under stress in complex environments, Peripheral uses peripheral vision. Connected urban furniture from JCDecaux serves as a direct communication interface with the population and plays a sentinel role in "vision 4rescue".

Orange's analysis tools and mission planning tools optimize drone flight paths, taking into account all mission constraints. Hybrid networks and devices, including onboard 5G network and a connected SOS backpack, along with ultra-light Wi-Fi mesh technology from Green Communications with embedded resilience applications, ensure communication between emergency teams during critical operations where traditional infrastructure is unavailable.

A V2X (vehicle to everything) solution from Orange enables real-time communication between the vehicle and its environment. Embedded AI and electronic components from STMicroelectronics optimize equipment responsiveness, reduce latency, and ensure high data security while incorporating energy-saving solutions for greater autonomy and durability.

A tactical communication tool from Atos connects vehicles, field teams, and drones to maximize data collection, enhanced via AI, and shared in real time. Long-range drones from Thales and short-range drones from Parrot are part of the "vision 4rescue" equipment, providing precise surveillance of emergency zones and sharing information.

The Renault 4 E-Tech electric vehicle is part of "vision 4rescue" equipment, acting as a mobile command center close to operations. The Dassault Systèmes technology connects virtual twins of physical and digital systems in a collaborative virtual world to simulate complex risk scenarios and explore prevention plans.

"vision 4rescue" offers a system of integrated, interconnected, and secure technologies to remove technological barriers between emergency services' devices. This system will be showcased at VivaTech with several real-world use cases: forest fire, flood, urban emergency.

Each year, Software République commits to developing innovative solutions to accelerate smart, secure, and sustainable mobility. Past projects include the Mobilize Powerbox, "H1st vision", and the U1st vision modular vehicle concept.

In France, natural disasters have increased fivefold in the last 15 years, and emergency and rescue professions are facing more frequent, intense, and complex interventions. With "vision 4rescue", Software République and its partners aim to provide a powerful tool to meet these challenges and ensure the safety of communities.
