Onkyo Unveils Three Windows 7 Tablet PCs
Japanese electronics company Onkyo has announced the launch of three new Tablet PCs, set to be released sometime in October. The devices, named TW117A4, TW217A5, and TW317A5, will cater primarily to the Japanese market, with no information available regarding an extended release beyond Japan.
All three tablets boast a full color touch screen, with the TW117A4 and TW317A5 featuring a 10.1-inch screen, and the TW217A5 boasting a larger 11.6-inch screen. Under the hood, the TW217A5 is powered by the Intel Atom Z530 processor and GMA 500 graphics, while the TW117A4 and TW317A5 are driven by Intel's Atom N450 processor and GMA 3150 graphics.
Each model includes a front and back facing webcam, 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, and USB ports. For those who prefer typing over touch, all Onkyo tablets allow the use of a USB keyboard. However, specific details about the USB keyboard are yet to be disclosed.
In terms of storage, the TW117A4 comes with a 160GB internal hard drive, while the TW317A5 offers a 32GB SD Card. Unfortunately, no information about the price of these tablets is available at this time.
It's important to note that these announcements concern the Onkyo tablets and not the personal life of Michael Kozlowski, who has been writing about audiobooks, e-books, and e-readers for eighteen years. Mr. Kozlowski resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
As for future Onkyo tablet PC models scheduled for release in October 2025, no details have been made publicly available. This article does not specify whether other regions will have access to the Onkyo tablets. The Onkyo tablets are not expected to have an extended release beyond Japan.
