New recruits join the ranks of the Police in Hamm
The Police Presidency Hamm welcomed 20 new employees on September 1st, marking a significant expansion of its staff. The new recruits, which include some transfers from other authorities, were welcomed by Police President Thomas Kubera at the Police Presidency Hamm.
Among the new additions are 13 police officers who have recently earned their bachelor's degrees from the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration NRW. These officers will be deployed in various locations, including the police stations in Mitte and Bockum-HΓΆvel, as well as in the criminal police and administration. Their deployment also extends to directorate leaderships and committee representatives.
While the first names of the five employees who were transferred from other authorities remain undisclosed, the new team includes a historian and a government inspector. The historian is a parental leave replacement, and the government inspector joins the team as a permanent member.
The welcoming celebrations were also attended by Police Chaplain Marcus Nordhues. In his speech, Thomas Kubera emphasised that everything the police do is for the safety of the city's people, not for themselves.
