New Officers and Special Personnel Join Hamm Police Headquarters
The Hamm Police Headquarters in Germany has welcomed 20 new employees, including police officers, a historian, and a government inspector, as part of a recent recruitment drive. The new team members joined the force on September 1st, 2023, under the leadership of Thomas Kubera, the President of the Police Headquarters in Hamm.
Thomas Kubera, in his welcome address, emphasised the police's primary responsibility, which is ensuring the safety and well-being of the city's people. He stated that everything the police does is for the benefit of the city's residents, not themselves.
Among the new recruits, 13 officers have recently earned their bachelor's degrees, while five colleagues have transferred from other authorities to Hamm Police Headquarters. The new officers will serve in various functional areas within the police stations Mitte and Bockum-Hövel, the criminal police, and the administration.

Thomas Kubera also highlighted the importance of continuous learning and development, mentioning that the new employees have completed a three-year study at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration NRW.
