New leadership at the police department: Karsten Koutsky assumes command
Police Chief Superintendent Karsten Koutsky has taken over as the new department head of the Circular Police Authority Höxter, effective from August 15th, 2022. The appointment was announced in a ceremonial gathering, which was attended by County Commissioner Michael Stickeln.
Karsten Koutsky was previously the head of the Directorate of Crime (Direktion KriminalitÀt) in Höxter from 2018 to 2020. Before his tenure at the Police Headquarters Bielefeld, he returned to lead the Police Department in Höxter.
In his previous role at the Circular Police Authority Höxter, Karsten Koutsky also served as the head of the Criminal Division from 2018 to 2020. He expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Höxter and working with his team.
County Commissioner Michael Stickeln welcomed Karsten Koutsky and wished him success in his new role. He also expressed confidence that Karsten Koutsky and his team will maintain the high level of security in the Höxter district.
The change of leadership was marked by a ceremonial gathering, during which current topics and future challenges of the police in the Höxter district were discussed.
