Kubota Unveils Next-Generation Wheel Loaders R070 and R090

Kubota, a leading manufacturer in the industry, has launched its next-generation wheel loaders, the R070 and R090. These new machines are designed for efficiency, ease of use, and high performance in construction, agricultural, and groundcare environments.

Rob Edwards, Business Development Manager for Agriculture at Kubota UK, stated that the R070 and R090 are designed to be versatile, reliable, and low maintenance. Glen Hampson, Business Development Manager for Construction at Kubota UK, added that they are built for enhanced performance and productivity.

One of the key features of the new wheel loaders is their ease of operation. According to Glen Hampson, even operators with no loader experience can handle these machines with ease. Rob Edwards reiterated that the R070 and R090 are designed to be easy to maintain, with a focus on low maintenance requirements.

The control layout of the new machines is more ergonomic, and major loader functions are on a single RH lever that is easy to operate with just one hand on both the R070 and R090. The 2-step speed control switch enables the operator to quickly change speeds for optimum efficiency.

The new wheel loaders come with a fully enclosed glass cabin for improved visibility. Additional features include a high visibility cabin, a full opening right window, a new loader boom design, a digital display, a full suspension seat, an enlarged glass surface, air conditioning (optional), an adjustable right wrist rest, large foot space, and a tiltable steering wheel.

Kubota has also made significant improvements to the engine of the R070 and R090. The V2607 engine is now fully Stage-V compliant. The new DPF in these loaders increases service intervals, reducing maintenance.

Safety is another area where Kubota has not compromised. Glen Hampson emphasized that the R070 and R090 are built to Kubota's high standards of safety. Both machines have a high lifting capacity, with the R070 capable of lifting 1880 kgf and the R090 capable of lifting 2160 kgf.
