TCL Unveils New 2025 TV Lineup: Affordable Options with Advanced Features

TCL, the popular electronics manufacturer, has announced its new 2025 TV lineup, offering a range of models to cater to various budgets and needs. The lineup includes the TCL C6K and the more premium C7K and C8K models.

The TCL C6K, starting at £799 for the 55-inch model and going up to £3199 for the 98-incher, boasts a 2.1-channel Onkyo sound system with 40W of power. While it does not offer Dolby Atmos FlexConnect support or the B&O sound system found in the C7K, it still delivers the same HDR support and gaming features. The C6K also has 512 dimming zones and a max brightness of 1000 nits.

On the other hand, the TCL C7K is a more affordable version of the C8K, starting at £799 for the 50-inch model, going up to £12,999 for the 115-inch set. Despite featuring fewer dimming zones, less brightness, and a different type of LCD screen, the C7K still offers the same refresh rate, processor, Google TV operating system, comprehensive HDR support, and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect support as the C8K.

TCL is embracing Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology for the first time, allowing for more versatility in placing home cinema speakers. This feature is available only on the C7K and C8K models.

The TCL C6K is available in the same sizes as the C7K, except for the 50-inch and 115-inch variants. The C6K does not offer these sizes.

In addition, TCL has introduced a C6KS Mini LED model with a slightly lesser processor, three HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 60Hz panel. Pricing for this model is yet to be announced.

The TCL 2025 TV series in Germany offers a strong price-performance ratio, with models ranging from affordable UHD TVs starting at around €329 (43") to advanced QD-Mini-LED TVs like the C7K with prices starting around €599 for 55", and premium models such as the C9K starting at about €1,489. These premium models feature Mini-LED technology, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and Bang & Olufsen sound. The wide range allows consumers to choose according to budget and needs, with many models offering advanced features at competitive prices compared to OLED alternatives.

The TCL C8K TV model, priced higher than the C6K and C7K, features a sound system by Bang & Olufsen, providing an upgraded audio experience. Certain new TCL models have a refresh rate of 144Hz at 4K, with some models capable of hitting 288Hz at 1080p HD resolution.

TCL has also introduced Halo Control Technology in its 2025 TV models, a combination of technologies designed to boost contrast and reduce backlight blooming.

The TCL C7K TV model, with its wider range of sizes, makes it a more realistic proposition for more households. In testing, the C8K model earned five stars due to its phenomenal brightness, excellent backlight control, and tempting pricing.

With its new 2025 TV lineup, TCL continues to offer affordable options with advanced features, providing consumers with a wide range of choices to fit their budgets and needs.
