New construction equipment for paving and road development unveiled by Optimas Corporation
In the bustling setting of the NordBau Neumünster, Optimas will be exhibiting its comprehensive portfolio for paving and path construction, edge restraints, material distribution, joint treatment, riding arena construction, guardrail installation, flood protection, and lifting technology.
At booth W123 on Travemünde Street, visitors can get a first-hand look at the PaveJet S24, a versatile pavement laying machine designed with environmental zones in mind. This machine, powered by a water-cooled Kubota engine with 18.5 kW/25 PS at 2300 rpm, boasts a 7-inch display that serves as its central information and control unit.
The PaveJet S24 stands out for its soundproofing, making it suitable for use in underground garages, and its three driving modes (Basic, Standard, Special) that can be adjusted via the display. One of its key features is its ability to pick up stone layers from a height of 2.6 m, and it can lay up to 1000 m² or more per day.
For those concerned about the working environment and surrounding area, the Optimas Vacu-Mobil-Allrounder is a game-changer. This nearly silent lifting machine for paving stones, channel stones, and slabs does not use a diesel engine, reducing noise pollution significantly. It can be optionally equipped with a 230-volt vacuum pump unit for noise-reduced operation.
The Optimas Planmatic grading machine, attached to a wheel loader, is another innovative solution on display. With 2D control that measures the x and y axes using Leica laser receivers, cross-slope sensors, and Leica ultrasonic scanners, this machine ensures precise grading. The 3D machine control enables the creation of changing terrain profiles with different slopes and heights in a single pass.
Visitors can also find the Optimas Planmatic grading machine with its 2-axis swiveling pivot steering and endless gripper rotation gear for high maneuverability at the event. Additionally, the company will be showcasing an optional air conditioning system for the driver's cab of the PaveJet S24, an optional sound system with speakers, radio, Bluetooth, hands-free device, and front USB, and an optional reversing camera for added safety.
The NordBau 36/2025 marks an exciting opportunity for the construction industry to witness Optimas' commitment to innovation and sustainability in paving solutions.
