Nazi dissenters step down from gun association.

During the gun festival in Löningen, individuals yelled racist phrases during Gigi D'Agostino's renowned track "L'amour toujours." Following this incident, some suspected offenders have voluntarily initiated their departure from their shooting club.

Several folks in the video who plan to resign have done so in an attempt to minimize any further harm, according to the Schützenverein Bunnen board. Management has identified additional individuals on the video and questioned them as well. From what the board understood, these individuals had no direct exposure to the offensive lyrics and did not participate in any derogatory slogans. Instead, they were singing the normal text along with other dancers and guests on the dance floor.

At the same time, the State Protection Office is taking a closer look at the neo-Nazi songs that transpired at the club during the Pentecost weekend.

The board is prepared to expel club members who are found guilty of engaging in these activities during a future board meeting.

The club is taking responsibility for its actions

In a public statement, the club clarified that it is not a racist organization and takes its societal duties seriously. Club officials also plan on arranging counseling for younger members and volunteers to educate them on anti-right-wing extremism. They've already coordinated a meeting with the Prevention Department of the State Protection Office.

The club is also considering revising the planned course of the Schützenfestmontag 2025 and rethinking the type of music played at future events, as indicated in this press release.

"We're not a racist club, and we take our responsibilities to society seriously," the club declared.
