Prime members are in for a treat as Amazon's annual sales event, Prime Day, returns on July 16-17. This year, the event is accompanied by Prime Big Deal Days on October 8-9. To participate, one must be an Amazon Prime member.

During these four days, Prime members can take advantage of a 30-day free trial for groceries from Amazon, available in certain areas. They can also enjoy exclusive deals on thousands of items across various categories, such as tech, beauty, home, clothing, and electronics.

Amazon offers personalised shopping experiences to its Prime members. The platform suggests items based on prior purchases and items saved to one's Lists. Prime members can also set up personalised deal alerts based on recent searches and viewed items.

New deals appear approximately every five minutes during the event. Some of the highlights include a 23% discount on the Dell OptiPlex 7020 Desktop Computer, a 32% discount on the Frameo 10.1 Inch WiFi Digital Picture Frame, and a 54% discount on the Outdoor 4k Projector with Google TV/Voice Control.

For those looking to upgrade their tech, the Apple 2025 MacBook Air 13-inch Laptop is available at a 15% discount, while the GoPro HERO12 Black Waterproof Action Camera is available at a 25% discount.

Prime members can also save on smart devices, with up to 68% off select Amazon smart devices during the event. The Frame Series Samsung 65-inch QLED 4K Smart TV is available at a 40% discount, and the Amazon Echo Hub is available at a 33% discount.

Amazon Music Unlimited is offering four months free of service to eligible subscribers, with non-Prime members getting three months free. Prime members can also enjoy a special offer on Audible Premium Plus, paying just $0.99 for the first three months, auto-renewing at $14.95/month.

Prime members can also book cruises from $80 per day with Carnival Cruise Line through the Amazon Travel Deals page. Amazon has an "invite-only deals" program for popular items that may sell out quickly.

To help Prime members stay updated, Alexa can notify them of deals and set up a reminder for Prime Day itself. New members can try Prime Video free for 30 days.

Amazon Prime Day was first held on the company's 20th birthday, July 15, 2015. This year, the event promises to be bigger and better, with exclusive deals and offers for Prime members.
