Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan Addresses National Inter-College Cultural and Debate Competition

Syeda Rizwana Hasan, the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Adviser, recently graced the National University in Gazipur as the chief guest at the National Inter-College Cultural and Debate Competition-2025. During her address, she highlighted the importance of preserving nature and eradicating discrimination to build a beautiful Bangladesh.

Rizwana emphasized the need for all development to be pursued while conserving nature. She encouraged the young generation, referring to them as the foundation of a new Bangladesh, to cherish trees, rivers, and hills, and ensure nature's message reaches the people.

The event, presided over by National University Vice-Chancellor Professor SM Amanullah, also saw the participation of pro-vice chancellors Professor Md Lutfar Rahman and Professor Md Nurul Islam, along with Treasurer Professor ATM Zafarul Azam.

In her speech, Rizwana strongly called for breaking down inequality in society. She believed that the young generation has the courage to face any challenge and that the future of the country lies in their hands. If young people remain united, she stated, any problem can be solved.
