N26's Co-Founder, Valentin Stalf, to Leave CEO Role and Move to Supervisory Board Position

The Swiss Financial Innovation Desk (FIND), established two years ago with the aim of promoting fintech innovation, will be integrating into the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) from 1 September 2025. This decision comes in response to the high demand for FIND's services and Switzerland's ambition to be one of the world's leading locations in digital financial services.

FIND's role has been instrumental in ensuring successful financial innovation in Switzerland. Established services and events, including the FIND Map, SwissHacks (a fintech hackathon), and the 2025 Innovation Tour, will be retained as part of the integration.

The Capital Markets and Infrastructure unit within SIF will be retitled "Markets and Innovation" and complemented by FIND as an Innovation Desk. The person who will lead the innovation desk within the Federal Secretariat for International Finance is Marc Walder. Meanwhile, Nicolas Brugger will lead the Innovation Desk at SIF.

Eva Selamlar-Leuthold, who currently oversees FIND's team, expressed her satisfaction with FIND's success as a pilot project. In a LinkedIn post, FIND stated that it has brought together projects, research, investors, and authorities at national and international levels, successfully fulfilling its mission.

Julie Tomka, Head of Capital Markets and Infrastructure at SIF, stated that her team is growing and taking on new responsibilities. Inclusion and networking of various stakeholders will continue under the leadership of SIF.

The integration of FIND into SIF is a significant step towards achieving Switzerland's goal of becoming a global hub for digital financial services. The Federal Department of Finance is credited for the featured image.

Switzerland's 2025 annual report highlights initiatives such as the Pathway 2035 for Financial Innovation, Your Navigator guide, and various events organised by FIND. These initiatives aim to foster a conducive environment for financial innovation, attracting investors and tech companies to Switzerland.

As FIND integrates into SIF, the Swiss Financial Innovation Desk will continue to play a crucial role in ensuring successful financial innovation in Switzerland, contributing to the country's ambition to be a leading player in the digital financial services sector.
