Mystery Players and a Poker Pro Hit Multimillion-Dollar Casino Jackpots This Week
A series of massive casino wins have made headlines this week across the US. In Las Vegas, two mystery players struck life-changing jackpots, while professional poker player Allen 'Chainsaw' Kessler secured a seven-figure slot win in California. The payouts include some of the largest single-machine prizes recorded this year. On Monday night, Allen Kessler hit a $1,210,108 jackpot on a Buffalo Power Pay slot machine at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in California. He was betting $125 per hand when the win occurred. Kessler, a well-known poker professional, has been a regular at the casino for over a decade.
His poker career spans years, with four WSOP Circuit rings and total tournament earnings exceeding $3.87 million. This year alone, he added roughly $30,000 to his total after competing at the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, a visitor to The Venetian won a record-breaking Pai Gow jackpot of $2,211,469 on July 21. The identity of the winner remains undisclosed. Another unnamed player took home over $2.1 million from a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at Palms Casino Resort.
Florida also saw a major win when a player at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa landed a $1.3 million jackpot on a Golden Century Dragon Link game. The string of multimillion-dollar payouts highlights a remarkable week for casino players. Kessler's slot victory adds to his long poker career, while the Las Vegas and Florida wins mark some of the largest single-machine jackpots of the year.
