Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi experiences deteriorating heart issues, claims her son amid her detention by military authorities

In a statement made on MRTV, Myanmar military spokesman Zaw Min Tun claimed that the health of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi is good. However, concerns about her wellbeing persist, as her son, Kim Aris, has expressed worry and is unable to verify if she is alive.

Aung San Suu Kyi, who served as the former leader of Myanmar, is currently in military custody. She is reportedly suffering from worsening heart problems and has also been experiencing bone and gum issues. According to Zaw Min Tun, these health concerns are being used to distract from the military chief's visit to China.

The military chief of Myanmar, Min Aung Hlaing, recently visited China and met with President Xi Jinping. The visit included attendance at a military parade in China.

The February 2021 coup in Myanmar has led to widespread violence, crushing mass rallies and sparking a widespread armed uprising. Aung San Suu Kyi denies all the charges against her, but it is unclear if she has seen a cardiologist or if she has a current lawyer or official spokesperson discussing her health and detention conditions.

Kim Aris has appealed for his mother's immediate release and for the freedom of all political prisoners in Myanmar. The location and status of Aung San Suu Kyi remain largely unknown, according to her son.

This ongoing situation in Myanmar continues to garner international attention, with the world eagerly awaiting updates on the health and wellbeing of Aung San Suu Kyi and the resolution of the ongoing political unrest in the country.
