News Article: District Council Meetings Scheduled Across Wiesbaden
Residents of Wiesbaden are invited to participate in a series of district council meetings taking place over the course of the next few days. These meetings, which serve as a platform for discussing local issues and concerns, cover a wide range of topics, from urban development to budget proposals and traffic safety measures.
The Mitte District Council, scheduled for Thursday, September 4, at 6:00 PM in Room 22 of the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6, will focus on topics such as the "Budget 2026 - Preliminary report and treasurer's draft" and an "Experience report from the Green Space Office" under Project #gießbaden.
On the same day, the Erbenheim District Council will gather at Am Bürgerhaus 3 at 7:00 PM. Topics for discussion include urban development for the land use plan 2040 and the budget 2026.
The following day, Wednesday, September 3, the Auringen District Council will meet at 7:00 PM at Ortsverwaltung Auringen, Kirchenhügel 3. The agenda includes an expert contribution on urban development for the land use plan 2040, a budget 2026 preliminary report and treasurer's draft, and the expansion of WLAN infrastructure in public spaces in Auringen.
In Kloppenheim, the district council will convene at Restaurant Poseidon, Oberstraße 8, also on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The meeting will address the traffic situation Oberstraße/Stiegelstraße/Hockenberger Straße, waste bins at benches, dog waste bags on the roadside and in agricultural areas, urban development for the land use plan 2040, and the budget 2026.
The Westend/Bleichstraße District Council will gather on Wednesday, September 3, at 7:30 PM, in the Event Hall on the upper floor of the Georg-Buch-Haus, Wellritzstraße 38. Topics for discussion include traffic safety measures such as the reallocation of traffic area on Seerobenstraße and the user-friendly expansion of the Bismarckring stop heading towards Dotzheim. Additionally, fraction proposals address reclassification of the lowest part of the Buhlowstraße with naming and one-way traffic in Scharnhorststraße.
