In the heart of Europe, the Czech Republic played host to the second annual Jesus March, a public event aimed at connecting Christians and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. The event, which took place on August 3, 20XX, saw an impressive turnout of approximately 2,000 participants – a significant increase from the 1,000 who attended the previous gathering in November 2023.

The Jesus March, a collaboration between Salvation Crew, Jesus Revolution, and Zasáhnout svět (Reach the World), began at Hradčany Square near the Prague Castle. The procession made its way across the Vltava river, culminating in Old Town Square, where the main programme was directed by the Jesus Revolution team.

Pastor Olayinka Ojo (RCCG Rehoboth Centre) was among the speakers at Klárov, near the seat of the Czech government. His sermon was accompanied by a powerful performance from a black vocal group from his church. Music was led by musicians from the Open Church Prague during the march, adding a melodious tone to the spiritual gathering.

Peter Kuba, the leader of Zasáhnout svět, gave an introduction at the beginning of the march. The event was a significant moment for the #OneMoreYearEF campaign, a sustainability challenge at Evangelical Focus, which published coverage of the Jesus March in its cities section.

The highlight of the event was the baptism of about twelve people in the Old Town Square at the end of the Jesus March. This public display of faith was a testament to the deep commitment of those participating in the mission of Evangelical Focus across Europe and beyond.

More information about the #OneMoreYearEF campaign and the Jesus March can be found on the Evangelical Focus website. The third annual Jesus March is planned for August 2025, promising another opportunity for Christians to gather and spread the Good News.
