Multiple individuals sustained injuries in a traffic incident on the A9 highway; authorities are looking for witnesses to gather more information.
On August 29, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred on the A9 near Schwanstetten (district of Roth). The incident involved a truck, a motorhome, and two other vehicles, resulting in six people sustaining injuries, some severe.
The accident occurred around 21:00, and as a consequence, the motorway was temporarily fully closed for investigation purposes. Several units of the Feucht traffic police are currently on the scene investigating the accident.
The driver of the motorhome, his passenger, and a 6-year-old child sustained severe injuries. Fortunately, the occupants of the BMW vehicles were unharmed. The 8-year-old and 14-year-old occupants of the motorhome, and the 50-year-old truck driver were lightly injured.
