Multiple individuals hurt in head-on crash accident
In an unfortunate incident that took place on Thursday afternoon, a head-on collision occurred on Kieselbronner Street, leading to severe injuries for two drivers and minor injuries for an 8-year-old child.
The collision, which occurred around 5:25 PM, involved a Ford and an Audi. According to reports, the driver of the Ford, a 51-year-old man, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, causing the accident. The driver of the Audi, a 50-year-old individual, was also affected by the impact.
The incident occurred in the direction of the city outskirts on Kieselbronner Street. The total damage to the involved vehicles was estimated at 40,000 Euros. Three individuals were injured in the collision.
The Pforzheim fire department responded promptly, dispatching 7 personnel and 2 vehicles to the scene. The injured parties were treated by an ambulance crew and 2 doctors. No further details about the current status of the individuals involved in the accident are provided.
This collision is not the first incident on Kieselbronner Straße. On Monday, July 26, in the past, an accident with multiple injuries occurred on the same street. In that incident, a motorcyclist was seriously injured when a Ford, while turning left, collided with the motorcycle as it attempted to overtake.
