Storms featuring thunder and heavy downpours - Multiple counties face a severe weather advisory.

In the evening, there's a risk of heavy rainfall ranging from 40 to 100 liters per square meter across Baden-Württemberg, Bavarian Swabia, southern Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland. The weather service cautions, "A significant portion of this rain will fall within a time frame of 3 to 6 hours."

Some regions may also experience hail and gusts of winds up to 70 kilometers per hour.

The weather service's alarm level represents a highly dangerous situation with potential for damage. To minimize risk, it's recommended to avoid exposure to the elements. "If you must go outside, be extra cautious," the weather service suggests.
