Bidgely, an AI-powered Software as a Service (SaaS) company, is set to host its energy intelligence conference, EmPOWER AI, from September 16 to 18 in Napa, California. This year's event, being hosted by PacifiCorp, the largest grid operator in the western United States and a long-time Bidgely partner, promises to be a vibrant gathering of utility leaders, data experts, and AI executives.

The conference aims to foster critical dialogue between these key players, providing a platform for discussions on how AI is revolutionising the sector. Attendees from over 40 global companies, as previously mentioned, will have the opportunity to learn, network, and share insights.

Bidgely's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Abhay Gupta, stated that the event has become the premier stage for showcasing the next wave of its AI advancements. Last year, the company debuted its groundbreaking work in generative AI at the conference, and this year, attendees will get an exclusive look at Bidgely's newest, powerful AI solution.

The EmPOWER AI conference is not just a stage for showcasing AI advancements, but also a platform for vibrant discussions. The event aims to offer a deep dive into the latest solutions for the utility industry's biggest challenges. The sessions at the conference blend a forward-looking vision with practical, real-world applications that utilities are already using today.

The conference will include sessions on AI-driven disaggregation insights, next-generation segmentation and customer engagement, and distribution grid planning and electrification. Arvind Jain, CEO of Glean, will be a featured speaker at the conference, discussing the future of AI for utilities.

The new EmPOWER AI 'Insights Tour' events, which started in 2025, will culminate in Napa. These events, initiated by Cognizant, where Amir Banifatemi, a key figure in AI governance and innovation, leads global efforts related to Responsible AI and has been involved in initiatives aligning AI with sustainable development goals, aim to foster global conversations and insights from over 100 attendees at stops in Canada and Europe.

In conclusion, the EmPOWER AI conference promises to be an exciting event for anyone interested in the intersection of AI and the energy sector. With its focus on critical dialogue, practical applications, and the latest advancements, it is sure to be a valuable experience for all attendees.
